McCain and Palin must be desperate. Here, just 3
days before the General Election I got a letter from none other than John
McCain. “Dear Friend,” he opens,
“Republicans like you must help us defeat the Democrats in the RNC Victory 2008
campaign.” Me, a
Republican? Perhaps on a
cold day in hell when George W. Bush stops telling lies. But, hey, the campaign is over, haven’t
you heard, John? You lost. I saw him sputtering today on TV about
“fighting, fighting, fighting, my friends, for
victory, for America’s sake.” I
only wish that he had been fighting, fighting, fighting to impeach George W.
Bush for the last 8 years. Or even
Cheney would have been good. Maybe
McCain would have deserved some votes for really cleaning up the corruption in
Washington instead of just talking the talk. Almost frothing at the mouth, he reminded me of Captain
Queeg just after running over his own tow line and
blaming all the wrongs of the USS Caine on his officers and crew. The dude is a nutcase, and his
sidekick, Sarah Palin, is a holy-roller fruitcake who would love nothing more
than to get her finger on the red button so that “God’s work in Iraq could be
done.” Like, totally, like,
finished. Like
bye, bye, world. See for
yourself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9H-btXPfhGs
In his letter to me soliciting
money, McCain says, “Let me be perfectly clear about what is at stake for
our nation if we fail to elect conservative Republican leadership in
Washington, D.C.” As if 8 years of the worst presidency and most corrupt Congress
in the history of our nation is not enough. A Bush clone like McCain would be our death knell. “If liberals like Barack
Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi control the White House, Congress and
state houses across this country….they will raise your taxes.” Say what? What brass! Thanks to McCain for voting for Bush’s mad dog preemptive
war policies, we went from a 7 Trillion dollar national debt to $10
Trillion! Isn’t that the worst
kind of tax we, the people, could ever experience? Could that borrowing and spending for wars that help nobody be the cause of our devalued dollar, the mortgage meltdown,
the bank failures, and the government coming to the rescue with fiat
dollars? Like, who are the real
crooks, here? And I got news for
those Neocon nits: liberals are
better any day than crooks like Bush, Cheney, and the Neocon congressmen who
swore to defend and protect the Constitution.
McCain talks about how if the
Obama Democrats have their way “government spending will skyrocket as they
implement government run health care and resurrect their failed welfare programs
of the 60s and 70s.” Gee, it seems
by now that Bush has paid Blackwater over 2 Billion dollars for government
mercenary troops to protect high-ranking soldiers and civilian big shots in
Iraq. Iraq wants Blackwater out of their country for the indiscriminate
shooting of Iraqi citizens. But
Bush keeps on paying the Blackwater Good Ole Boys big bucks to take target
practice at Iraq civilians. Why? I smell a rat. Sounds like a good old boy connection
to me, dudes. And McCain marches
in lockstep with Bush on the Iraq War, including the lucrative crony no-bid
contracts that keep the War going and the deep pockets filled with off-budget
tax dollars. Speaking of
skyrocketing spending, what about all the no-bid contracts for Halliburton, and hey, what about the missing 12 Billion dollars
cash we took over to Iraq for walk-around change? http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2007/feb/08/usa.iraq1
Funny, but neither Bush nor
McCain ever mentioned that little Neocon diversion from fiduciary
responsibility and public trust. Why not? Bush is in charge,
right? And McCain supported him
90% of the time, right? Yet the
Billions disappeared and nobody accounts for it, and McCain did not care to conduct
a Senate investigation. Some
Maverick. McCain dares to call
Obama a Redistributionist-In-Chief. Thought he and Palin really cared about fighting government corruption
and naming names when it comes to Good Old Boys who steal from the government and
abuse the public trust. McCain and
Palin beat their jaws real good about the Good Old Boys who steal from the
taxpayers, but when it comes to their own crony Good
Old Boys you never hear them cry corruption. Where were they when Halliburton charged us 40 million
dollars for meals to troops they never served? They are all talk. Like Bush, they are all Hat and no Cattle.
When the camera zooms in on
McCain these last days before the Election, I swear, he looks just like the
salivating image of Humphrey Bogart as Captain Queeg of the “Cain Mutiny” when
he was looking for the missing strawberries stolen from the Wardroom Mess. He postulated that somebody had a
secret key to the officer’s mess. But the key never existed. Neither does McCain’s logic when he tries to pin a big-spending image on
Democrats. McCain knows full well
that Bush’s borrow-and-spend policies have overshadowed anything the Democrats
have spent in the history of America.
“Our free market solutions and
conservative principles are better for America-and that has proven true time
and again.” McCain tells us with a
toothy Bogart grin. So does McCain
really think the GOP-driven deregulation of the US securities industry since
the days of Ronald Reagan, really helped America? Is he mad? Or
could it be that, like Bush, he doesn’t read the newspapers? Is McCain, snug in his 13 bedroom, 14 bathroom Arizona house to even be aware of the
mortgage meltdown? Are the crooked
lenders who duped not only homeowners into losing their homes, but investors
and pension-plan managers into losing their shirts as Freddie Mac and Fannie
Mae went down the toilet, ummmm, are they McCain’s friends, too? Isn’t it a bit ironic that McCain is
one of the Keating Five? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HAzDEbVFcg8 Have the
countless failed financial giants, burned up in endless bankruptcies failed to
stir McCain when he speaks so cavalierly about the GOP “free market?” He should have maybe let sleeping dogs
lie, you think? Does he not know
that Merrill Lynch went down the tubes? And what about Lehman Brothers, Bear Stearns, Wachovia, AIG, Countrywide
Mortgage, IndyMac Bank, AMBAC, MBIA, Washington Mutual, and numerous other
institutions that have failed to the tune of Trillions of dollars of lost
capital? Is it possible that
McCain is oblivious to the financial wreck his Tweedledee clone Bush has
wreaked upon Americans and our financial futures? Could McCain be living in another world where you own 10 houses
and other Americans have to walk away from their one former home because of the
subprime mortgage fraud brought to us by the Neocons and their idea of the
“Free Market System?” Straight
out, these are the dudes who benefitted from deregulation brought to us by
Reagan, perfected by Bush, and extolled by McCain. If you guessed the CEOs and higher ups who are now privy to the Trillions in government bailout dollars to pay their big
bonuses, you guessed right. Does
McCain call this the free market system? If so, he needs help. If he
knows who the real Good Old Boys are and is lying to the American people about
naming names, he needs to first begin with naming his biggest campaign
contributors. Bet that 4 out of 5
headed top corporations that went bust as they bailed out with record bonuses
and golden parachutes.
America needs to help McCain and
Palin out the door in a couple of days by voting these pseudo- Maverick
fruitcakes out of office forever. We cannot afford to endure another term of blatant disregard for the
people, our dollar, our troops, and the loss of our very goodness as a
nation. They went too far this
time, and they know it. But then let’s face it. All the crooked Neocons expect to exit after the biggest
plundering of a nation in the history of the world. And they are laughing all the way to the bank (but it’s in
Switzerland, dude, get it?). And
McCain, like Captain Queeg of the USS Caine is just plain nuts. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O9KlQPX1qiE&NR=1
Note: By the time of this writing, the election will be over. I hope we as a nation did get out and
vote the bastard Neocons out of office, forever. And that includes all the notable
Republicans like Lindsay Graham, John Cornyn, and Newt Gingrich who fawned over
Sarah Palin as though she had brains and ability. With stuffed pockets, what a disgusting sight they make as
they exit with America’s future, hog-tied, gagged, and slung over their
shoulder in a gunny sack.
